What the Chamber Does For It’s Members

Information Services:  The Chamber offers economic and demographic information to visitors, prospective businesses and residents.  The Chamber offers a combined Checotah and Lake Eufaula area map that is distributed to visitors and residents.  This is a great advertising opportunity and available to all Chamber members.

Business Referrals:  The Chamber office receives phone calls and e-mails  requesting business referrals regarding products and services available in the Checotah area.  Whenever possible, the Chamber office refers these callers to the Chamber members first!

Chamber Advertising: The Chamber advertises with Checotah businesses to promote tourism and landmark events in multiple publications.  Chamber ads are located in The Chamber of Commerce Visitors’ Guide and Lake Eufaula Area Visitors’ Guide sent to all visitors’ centers in Oklahoma!

Ribbon Cuttings & Open Houses:  Moved to a new office?  Building a new office?  Celebrating a significant business anniversary?  Members are invited to get publicity by hosting a ribbon cutting, open house or ground breaking event.  A photo opportunity will be featured in the McIntosh County Democrat Newspaper.  This website has a page dedicated to Ribbon Cuttings & Open Houses to help you spread the word. The Chamber membership is invited to attend these events through our Chamber memo.
